Summer is among us, which means there’s plenty of fruit to be consumed! More fruit equals more summer recipes. My personal favorites are watermelon and mango. IMG_2891

Just in case you can’t get your fix of fruit, you can always drink the flavors through Sparkling ICE. It’s certainly “The Bold Side of Water.”

They come in seventeen different flavors, from Black Raspberry to Coconut Pineapple. My personal favorite would have to be Orange Mango (for obvious reasons.. mango!).  No matter what your favorite fruit is, there is something out there for everyone.

There’s a light fizz to every sip, perfect of those who crave the carbonation without the calories. That’s right, there’s ZERO calories in every drink! You don’t have to worry about losing your summer bod.

Sparkling ICE is actually giving fans a chance to win a year’s supply by competing against each other in the Flavor Face Off fan contest (No Purchase Necessary). In addition, you could get your face on a bottle, along with daily and weekly prizes. To register or to find Sparkling ICE near you visit sparklingice.com I get my bottles at Target!

As for the overnight coconut mango chia seed pudding, it surely is a beauty. Can you imagine diving in with a huge spoon? I loved using coconut milk and mixing it with fresh mangoes. I saved some for decorating on top, but let’s be real here…. the more mangoes, the better. The chia seed consistency is definitely an acquired taste and I’m still working on getting my taste buds there.

Cheesy Spinach Crescent Rolls

I have strange phases that I go through where I’m obsessed with Craigslist. Sometimes, I like to hunt for vintage furniture, look for random jobs, or in this case, look at every listing possible for apartments and homes for rent. I guess it’s not out of the ordinary since our lease for our current place is up in May. Although I love our location, price, and size of our current town home, the kitchen is just not doing it for me anymore.

So, I’ve started browsing for a new possible place to call home. My DH and I have moved 3 times in the last 4 years, so moving isn’t new to us. We’ve constantly been “upgrading” every time we moved. We went from a 450 square foot apartment with absolutely no light to a 750 square foot apartment in a high rise building. From there, we moved to a 1190 square foot, 2 bedroom town home and that’s currently where we are now. Even though the space is big, it’s just not big in the right places.

Instead of having a long living room, I would have preferred the kitchen to take up the majority of the space. When you rent, you have the flexibility of moving to something better when it comes along. That’s the nice thing about it.

I’m not sure yet if we’ll be moving again this year, but I would say that it’s highly likely. My top three priorities in a living place are: the kitchen, lots of natural light, and a washer/dryer. For my DH, it’s his commute to work, the garage, and having dual paned windows (our currently place definitely does not have that).

We’ll be looking at a number of places this weekend. I can’t wait!

Maybe I should get my real estate license so I can be doing this all day and actually get paid for it.

spinachrolls-5

I’ve always loved looking at houses. Model homes are my jam! I’ll pull over for a chance to walk through a model home any day.

These cheesy spinach crescent rolls are a quick and easy snack whenever you need a pick me up throughout the day. They’re best warm, straight from the oven. They’re also great for parties!

Garlic Cauliflower Breadsticks

cauliflowerbreadsticks-6

I’m always looking for quick and semi-healthy snacks to make. Snacking is probably my favorite activity of the day. These garlic cauliflower breadsticks fit the bill.

cauliflowerbreadsticks

People use cauliflower to make pizza crust all of the time, so why not turn it into breadsticks? It only makes sense.

cauliflowerbreadsticks-2

These tasted so good that my DH actually ate a couple without complaining about vegetables. Hallelujah!cauliflowerbreadsticks-3

I think it has to do with all of the garlic and cheese. That’s all that you taste (and that’s the good stuff)!cauliflowerbreadsticks-4

These would be wonderful for an appetizer at a party. I’d eat the whole tray!cauliflowerbreadsticks-7
