I feel like there are a million different kinds of Oreos on the shelves right now. Have you visited Target recently? There’s like an entire aisle dedicated to Oreo!
Not only are Oreos good on their own, but they’re even better baked into a cookie. Yessss, please.
These cookies are a little drier than I would have liked, but that could easily be remedied by reducing the baking time.

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp vanilla
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 ¼ cup flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 8 oreos, crushed into chunks
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Cream butter and sugars together. Add in the egg and vanilla.
- Gradually stir in the salt, flour, baking powder, and baking soda until just combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips and oreo chunks.
- Roll into golfball-sized balls and place onto greased cookie sheet (or silpat).
- Bake for 13 min.
