With the holidays practically flying by (four days left until the new year!), I created my very own winter bucket list for things that I want to get done this season. Some of these are traditions from years ago and some of them are brand new. Either way, each “to-do” item allows me to spend time with the people that I love. That’s the most important part!
- Every year, I bake my most popular cookies: chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, and white chocolate macadamia nut.
- Try out (at least) one new recipe.
- Pick up some warm drinks and go Christmas light gazing!
- Put up and decorate the Christmas tree.
- Go ice skating.
- Watch “Elf” and “Love Actually.”
- Visit the snow (weekend trip?!).
- Go to a Kings game.
- Read a book by the fireplace.
- Send out holiday cards.
- Learn how to knit a beanie.
- Bake and decorate sugar cookies.
- Decorate the fireplace mantel.
- Hop into the jacuzzi when it’s less than 50 degrees out.
- Make s’mores.
- Put together an entire puzzle (no easy 100 piece ones, either!)
- Try a new restaurant.
- Borrow books from the library.
- Drink hot cocoa.
- Go on a picnic and enjoy some Coca-Cola Life!
I grew up drinking Coca-Cola and this is a great alternative for a something a little lighter. Coca-Cola Life has only 60 calories per 8 oz bottle and is sweetened with natural cane sugar and stevia leaf extract. It also has 35% less calories than other leading colas. Coca-Cola Life was designed to provide consumers with simple yet sweet moments of refreshing uplift throughout their day.
For more information on Coca-Cola Life, you can visit their page here.
My friends over at Coca-Cola want to share the love and give one lucky reader the chance to try Coca-Cola Life! They’re giving away a Coca-Cola Life sampling kit, which includes a t-shirt and a six pack of 8 oz Coca-Cola bottles (as pictured above). All you have to do is enter via the Rafflecopter below:

Take time to relax!
We’re having a mild winter. I want to drive my new 4WD in the snow.
I have a list on my phone of things and places that need to be organized. It will be a year next month since we moved in-and things just have been thrown in closets–time to de-clutter!
I have a huge stack of books that I want to get through!
I need to make my own bucket list! My head is swirling with a whole lotta things I wanna do, but time passes and I feel like I don’t do anything!!
I want go learn to crochet
To make s’mores with the kids!
I would love to go sledding if it snows!
Finally making crockpot hot chocolate for my coworkers!
I am hoping to get a little snow here!
I want to go ice skating!!
I want to get my yard ready for a new garden area! Winter is such a nice time to work outside with less bugs to bother me!
Clean out my closet!

to try out a spinning class at my gym! It looks so good but scarily hard and intense! I’ve been too nervous to try out the new class but 2015 I WILL do it! (and hopefully not collapse from exhaustion!)

Take a long nap and crochet in peace (hard with a 2 1/2 year old)
Try not yelling at my kids too much
I want to paint my den.
Vacation someplace warm when it’s freezing at home.
