We went out to eat for a friend’s birthday at 2 Die for Sushi. We’ve never been here before, but the birthday boy chose the place and we’re always down to try new restaurants! I was a bit wary after reading such bad reviews on Yelp, but we ventured on anyways.
My plate: I got the combination with california rolls and teriyaki salmon. It also came with rice, salad, and croquettes.
Some of the boys’ food… lots and lots of sushi!:
I was actually impressed. Maybe it’s because I came in thinking the worst.. maybe because the food was actually legit.. maybe because we ate at 9PM and I was starving. Either way, I gobbled it all up and there was nothing left on the table. The environment was friendly and a little slow, but the abundance of food kept us occupied.
I didn’t eat any of the “real” sushi, so I couldn’t tell you how fresh the fish really was. The rice could have been a bit stickier, but the surprise croquettes made up for it. Also, they charge for green tea. Lameeee. I think all restaurants should give hot tea for free! But hey, that’s just me.

WOW! Jealous! I’ll be honest I’m not a sushi fan but that place makes it look so appetising. Too bad I’m all the way in Scotland. Lucky you!

And about the post on Maria’s Italian Kitchen:
Okay! I was just wondering, I didn’t mean to be a bit rude, I was just uber curious and it made no sense! I understand now! 🙂 My apologies!
