Food Review: Chick Fil A

March 18, 2011 by kim 15 Comments

Have you heard of Chick-Fil-A? Well, I knew of the place but never knew that there was one near me. We took my niece there for lunch before going to the movies one day.

DB’s: Spicy Chicken Sandwich

All the chicken items were just as expected.. delish! I especially liked my DB’s sandwich. I, on the other hand, wasn’t too lucky with my wrap. The chicken wasn’t seasoned, the caesar dressing was off, and the wrap was hard. How come I had to make the mistake and order the one bad item off the menu? Oh well, lesson learned: If you go to Chick-Fil-A, get something hot.
Overall, cheap and tasty fast food. My DB fell in love with the place and would eat it everyday if he could. Heck, I think that’s one of the reasons he’s considering going to USC law (they have a Chick-Fil-A on campus). *kidding*

I LOVE Chik Fil A. We don’t have one near us now and I miss it. I’ve heard that Chik Fil A is one of the only fast food restaurants that uses real chicken in their food.

LOL! I take for granted the fact that Chik Fil A is abundant in the south – I love their chicken sandwiches – the malt vinegar they use in the breading is awesome and you can tell they use REAL chicken, not ground, extruded cheap parts chicken like McDonalds (you know how they’re chicken seems…spongy? ew).

My mom used to inspect Chik-Fil-A restaurants and was always incredibly impressed with the cleanliness of the establishment as a whole. It’s one of the few fast-food restaurants she still wants to eat at after seeing the ‘inner workings’ of the kitchen. I’m a huge fan of their waffle fries and their chicken sandwiches!

So funny to hear someone say “Have you heard of Chick-Fil-A?” I’m from north carolina and they are everywhere! Love it. You can’t beat a glass of sweet tea and a spicy chicken biscuit for breakfast! Also–LOVE your blog! I’ve made several of your recipes, especially the cookies. Thanks for being an awesome blogger!

Love CFA! Check out your local one to find out when they have “specials”. They should have a calendar on the table. One of our local CFA’s hosts Kid’s Night on Monday nights. 2 kids eat free per one adult combo meal. And they usually have a craft or some fun thing for the kids to do.

My kids love it and for fast food (this kind, anyway), I feel like it is one of the healthier choices out there. Side salad and a 4-pc nugget cut up on my salad. Yummy!! Oh and usually sneak a few fries.

Im a HUGE fan of CFA!!! I agree with you though, Kim- chicken is AMAZING but the wraps are not so hot. They do have really good salads and the dream cone is to die for! So glad you finally tasted what I consider to be the best fast food restuarant ever!

I’m from Virginia, so CFA’s are abundant here, but YES – so yummy!! Their milkshakes are deadly (especially cookies ‘n’ cream!)

Wow! Your first time at a CFA? We lived on it in our younger years, especially during college. Those waffle fries and the chicken biscuits (always with honey) are the best.

Oh, this just makes me smile! I have very close ties with CFA. I worked there in high school and college and I grew up right here in Atlanta where it all began. I am sad that you are just NOW getting your first taste of the best chicken chain ever! But I am also SO glad that you did eat it and LIKE it! If you ever get the wrap again, get the spicy wrap, it is so much better, but yes, on the dry side. :/ I love your blog! Thank you for sharing! 🙂

Love this review. Chick-fil-a is very kid friendly, and some of the restaurants have a play area. If you enjoyed the lunch, you should try a chicken biscuit for breakfast, those are addicting. Love your blog.

Chick-fil-A’s Chick-n-Minis typically cost around $3.29 for a 4-count order and around $4.69 for a 10-count order. Prices can vary slightly depending on location and any local promotions or changes. It’s always a good idea to check with your local Chick-fil-A restaurant or their website for the most current pricing information.Chick-fil-A’s Chick-n-Minis typically cost around $3.29 for a 4-count order and around $4.69 for a 10-count order.
